On Thursday, February 26th, Mentor High is hosting their annual Red Cross Blood Drive in Paradigm. You must be a junior or senior to donate.
This time around a new prize will be introduced – whichever class donates the most, all donors in said class will get a sweet treat… Which class will win?
The link to donate is located in Schoology or here.

Robert Knutson, a senior and student-athlete who qualified for states in pole vaulting last year talked about his experience donating blood.
“I like the amount of advertisement there is for the blood drive so that people have the opportunities to donate,” Knutson said at the time. “The way that the students, especially those working the blood drive spread the word is incredible. It was scary, but I am glad I was able to give blood, and since I found out that I am O+, I am very happy to have been able to help the maximum number of people.”
Mrs. Koshar, reiterated the importance of blood drives.
“Blood drives can save lives,” Mrs. Koshar says. “It’s really a great opportunity to help the community.”
Ask Ms. Petrusko if you are under 16 and wish to donate and she can provide a consent form and answer any questions.
