Homecoming is right around the corner! Learn more about MHS’s Homecoming Courts before the King and Queen are named at this year’s festivities. Cardinal Nation asked three key questions to help you get better acquainted with this year’s candidates:
- What is your favorite activity at MHS?
- What are your plans for the future? (College/Beyond)
- What is your advice for the underclassmen of MHS?
Congratulations to this year’s court! Here are the responses we got from each:

“My favorite activity at MHS is football, my plans for the future is to become a firefighter, so far I am on my second year of Fire and EMS training in CTE. After high school I have to go to a college and get my paramedic certification to become a firefighter. My advice for underclassmen is, “Obstacles are often opportunities in disguise.”

“My favorite activity is theatre. I plan to attend college for either a major in theatre or marine biology. The underclassmen need to enjoy every moment like it’s their last, because time seems to be the one thing everyone is always losing track of.”

“My favorite activity at MHS would have to be playing rugby with the team. My plans for the future are to become a commercial electrician. My advice for underclassmen would be, ‘Be clear about what you want your efforts will decide what you deserve.’”

“My favorite activity at MHS is marching band. My plans for the future include pursuing a degree in music education and becoming a band, choir, or orchestra director. My advice for the underclassmen is: Don’t worry so much about your heart. The actions will lead and the heart will follow.”

Aiden Messner
“My favorite activity at MHS is the ski & snowboard club. Plans for the future: college, majoring in biology or biomedical science. Hopefully at John Carroll University! Advice for underclassmen: Never let someone tell you that you can’t do it. Challenge yourself and prove them wrong.”

Ryan Olver
