Are you interested in being a part of something bigger than yourself?
Do you like to help others and do good for your community?
Then you should join the SSWF club —Students Supporting Women and Families. We strive to help women and families in need through fundraising efforts and raising awareness or gathering supplies. It is also a great opportunity to earn community service hours! Come join SSWF and make a difference in the lives of our women and families who need it the most.
SSWF is a new group created by club president Zoe Barninger that strives to help women and families of local organizations. The board members are:

For the week of February 12th, SSWF is hosting a drive for Hope for the Homeless! Club members helped create a large donation box for the student center where students can place their donations. The items Hope for the Homeless are asking for include:

It would mean a lot to SSWF if you could contribute!
Club president Zoe Barninger told Cardinal Nation what SSWF is all about and why you should join.
“SSWF is simply a group of people that want to do better and be better,” Zoe says. “I have a high amount of respect for each and every person within this club. SSWF is a club that primarily focuses on helping women and families affected by domestic violence, but also helps the community in other ways.”
If you are interested in joining SSWF, they meet every Tuesday in room B-206 right after school. To join the SSWF email list, fill out the email interest form here.
