A Look into the 2025 Homecoming Parade

Experience the energy of Mentor’s Homecoming parade in pictures

Punctuating the end of Homecoming Week and opening up the weekend to our Homecoming football game and dance, Mentor’s Homecoming Parade on September 20th brought together community members for an evening of festivities.

The parade showcased the best of Cardinal pride, featuring MHS’s Fighting Cardinal Marching Band, athletic teams, extracurricular clubs, and the students elected to this year’s Homecoming Queen and King Courts. Spectators lined the streets, music filled the air, and candy rained down to eager hands.

Before the first note sounded, anticipation had already been building in the MHS parking lot. Students gathered to decorate cars with streamers and signs that reflected their school pride and elevated their presence. The spirit of the parade extended beyond the high school, with student organizations from Memorial and Shore Middle Schools joining in on the tradition as paraders.

The parade officially stepped off from the MHS flagpole at 5:30 p.m., winding its way around Munson Road before concluding at Jerome T. Osborne Stadium, just in time to carry their spirit to this year’s Homecoming football game against Medina. The Homecoming Parade once again demonstrated why it remains one of Mentor’s most cherished traditions: a celebration of school spirit that brings the entire community together.
