When I flew into Iceland, it felt like I traveled to a different planet. Sprawling mountains covered with daring sheep grazing at high altitudes, exploding geysers erupting with boiling water, and swerving roads circling the island that that between soaring landscapes are the common sights the Icelandic people get to experience daily. As a tourist who stayed in the country for a week, the island provided me with natural phenomena that enlightened me to the beauty that our Earth possessed.
Although our activities for the first day were tremendously stunted due to my fever of 103 degrees, the remainder of our trip was consumed with mostly nature, with an especial focus on waterfalls. We traveled the Golden Circle one day, the most famous scenic route in Iceland. Other days we focused our wanderings around the capital of Reykjavik, the Southern region of the island known for breathtaking falls, or riding down perpetual roads.
The country is notoriously expensive, so we bought our breakfast and lunch at the grocery stores which had bearable prices. I had the same pretzel sandwich every day for lunch. Although tasty, the sandwich had a mystery sauce on it that I never quite figured out because most of the language had odd or even non-existing translations into English.

Iceland also provides views other than gorgeous falls. Here are some other miscellaneous sites from around the beautiful country of Iceland:
The views in Iceland were nothing short of other-worldly. Usually when someone is on vacation, the main spectacles hide away from the car. However, I found that simply traveling the roads of Iceland provided astounding views that it seems no other place on the planet possesses.
