Introducing the Candidates for Homecoming Queen

Doug Slovenkay, Contributor

Election day is upon us! No, I’m not referring to our governmental elections set to take place next month, but rather to the impending King and Queen elections for Mentor High School’s Homecoming Dance!

While there is certainly quite a disparity between the importance of these two elections, one may find themself equally confused in terms of who to cast their vote for. While unfortunately, I am not qualified to give political advice, I can be of service in alleviating confusion regarding this week’s Homecoming election.

Below are the profiles for each of the candidates for Homecoming Queen. Each candidate was asked to outline their extracurricular involvement, their proudest accomplishment in high school so far, and answer several additional super-important questions that we at Cardinal Nation simply had to know. Here are their responses!

Angelina Aliberti

Angelina is involved with National Honor Society, the filming crew for football games, choir concerts and orchestra concerts, and is a proud participant of AP Fine Art 4. Angelina feels that she has yet to make her proudest accomplishment here at Mentor, anticipating this moment to come at the Senior Art Show at the end of the year.
